Buyers Better Buy Real Estate In Dallas Area

Those of you who want a great deal on a home better get off the couch!  A new report today in the Dallas Morning News says pre-owned home prices are on the rise.  Yes, in the last couple of months we have seen multiple offers and less inventory in certain areas but this report  is showing solid gains in the latest report by the S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index.  This report tracks over time the prices of specific single family homes in metropolitan areas across the county.  For example, Dallas is up 2.8% in April from a year ago.  Atlanta is down 17%....ouch!  Local analysts believe it's going to continue as long as the job growth holds....and right now it's holding!
