Las Colinas Dart Station Opens Saturday
Head West friends the next stop is Irivng/Las Colinas! New adventures await you in the heart of Las Colinas. Jump on board the new Dart Orange line and come out to the Canals of Las Colinas, Lake Carolyn Promenade, the Convetion Center and the great restaurants and nightlife! Starting Monday July 30th the Orange line will begin its journey through Irving and head into the DFW Airport. The orange line will service the University of Dallas, Las Colinas Urban Center, and Irving Convention Center stations. Irving residents will be connected to the entire Dart rail system-the largest light rail system in North America! In honor of this expansion there will be festivities on July 28th starting with a parade at 5pm at the corner of Las Colinas Blvd and Lake Carolyn Parkawy. Continue the party at all the stops! Bachman Station will be hosting Dart Rider Safety Instruction Classes, University of Dallas Station will display finished art and design project, and end your trip at the Las Colinas Urban Center Station for the block party and street festivities with live music, bounce houses, food trucks, free Gondala rides, and much more!
